  • Recruitment Rally

    The Indian Army is scheduled to conduct a recruitment rally for the Agniveer posts starting from June 25, 2024. The Army Recruiting Office (ARO) in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, will be hosting the recruitment rally from July 10, 2024, onwards. Detailed exam schedules for all divisions across the country have been uploaded by the Indian Army.

    Selection Process

    The selection process for the Indian Army Agniveer posts is a comprehensive five-stage process:

  • Written Examination: This is the initial phase of the selection process. It began on April 22, 2024, and is scheduled to continue until May 03, 2024.
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who pass the written examination must participate in the physical fitness test. This test includes various physical activities such as running, push-ups, sit-ups, and a cross-country run.
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Short-listed candidates will then undergo a physical measurement round. In this round, their height, weight, and chest will be measured to ensure they meet the requirement criteria as disclosed in the notification.
  • Medical Examination: This stage involves a detailed examination to assess the candidates’ medical conditions and overall body fitness. This is to ensure that the candidate is medically fit for military service.
  • Document Verification: The final stage of the selection process involves document verification. In this round, the authenticity of the documents the candidates submit during the application process will be verified.
